Then enters Agent Smith.

Imagine: He or she can take on any form, but don’t fooled by these evil imbeciles. They can be spotted just in front of you at the airport’s security line. They’re the ones riffling through countless bags, apparently looking for the standard accouterments of a common gate crashing peasant, possibly preventing your heroic journey to the aid another distressed client. You will find them sitting next to you at the crowded gate, alternately blowing snot into a fowl rag and then biting into some nasty smelling goo disguised in a sandwich wrapper. Now you board the plane. Every seat is packed, turning your aircraft into the proverbial flying sardine can. Perhaps half of the plane is occupied with noble warriors. Another thirty percent or so are the traveling rookies and innocent civilians who mean no harm and try their best – yet they still slow you down and often thwart your best moves while navigating the backroads to Zion. What you didn’t expect is that sitting next to you on this unholy machine is Agent Smith. This time he has chosen not to bath in the last year (clever strategy) – a clear dark ninja move aimed at spoiling some rare moments of rest on your righteous quest. Then he deploys a secret weapon. It turns out that five potent bean burritos were hidden in the goo of the sandwich wrapper.

The journey is not over. Having made due hast to escape the onslaught of repeated chemical attacks, you find yourself a nice resting spot at the connecting gate, right in front of the suspended television in order to enjoy a brief, but well-earned, entertaining diversion. Soon Agent Smiths are everywhere and indeed you are sandwiched between two of them. With nowhere to escape, you hunker down and prepare for the worst. Simultaneously, they both draw their wireless weapons and begin to fire piercing, obnoxious conversations, effectively drowning out any hopes of enjoying an amusing interlude. Hope fades into a seemingly non-ending onslaught of irritating, inane and moronic hyperbole.

Amidst the confusion and meaningless noise, you surreptitiously reach your hand into the trusty SwissGear urban survival bag and flip the switch on a portable, hightech, low drag, multiple frequency, cell phone jammer. The din stops, you crack a subtle smile as the Agent Smiths spiral into a tirade of frustrating defeat. Finally a blanket of relative quite envelopes your space and you settle into a glorious ten-minute oasis.

For those of you who are new Road Warriors, supporting civilians, or simply can’t handle the hightech fire power of a portable cell phone jammer, give these a try. At the least, these will confuse Agent Smith:

Over the next few months, Jamooza will be mutating and evolving into a positive oasis of interesting possibilities. For this reason, I believe that I will remove the Politics category. Certainly, politics is a popular topic and many political blogs have achieved great success. Then again, so has Jerry Springer. In this country, politics has become a divisive cesspool of mediocrity that gurgles up from our capital, dispersing a stench of disdain, anger and distrust throughout our great country. We have managed to achieve exactly what our collective minds have wished for: a place where Washington DC and Hollywood are barely distinguishable. The sad part is that we are all arguing from a position of weakness because our politicians (both Democrats and Republicans) who “represent” us, are at best blatant hypocrites.

Let me know what you think. Should I remove the politics category? For now, I will end this post with a powerful quote that applies to our Republican and Democractic representives:

I’m sick and tired of hearing things
All I want is the truth

Stories like this never seen to amaze me. Why does it take so long to stop these spammers from operating? While this is a good start and a major group has been stopped, it is just a small drop in the SPAM BUCKET. Out email In-Boxes deserve better …

Let’s declare the official SPAM Email day and celebrate by giving a can of Spam to a your favorite Network Administrator, ISP, or politician…

Chicago (IL) – There is a good chance that the spam volume hitting your email inbox could drop drastically. A web hosting firm was identified earlier in the week by the computer security community as a major host of organizations that were engaging in spam activity. The web hosting firm was pulled from the Web.

Located in a 30-story office tower in the heart of Silicon Valley, in downtown San Jose, a relatively small firm was involved in a full scale cyber crime network. The McColo Corporation operated the servers located within the building, and they were involved in hosting services for all types of firms that compromised computers to advertise counterfeit designer goods, pharmaceuticals, fake Internet security products and even child pornography by way of e-mail.

Viewing the company’s website is no longer possible, two Internet providers cut off McColo’s connectivity to the Internet. Almost instantaneously, security companies noticed a tremendous drop in the global volume of spam. E-mail security firm IronPort said that spam levels had fallen by almost 66% as of Tuesday evening.

Spam watchdog Spamcop.net stated that there was a decline of 10 – 40 spam emails per second.

At this time, it is not known whether McColo be legally responsible will be for the activities of their clients. At this time there is no confirmation that the company has been charged with a crime.

Private security researcher Jart Armin has been documenting the activity of McColo. She mentioned that currently McColo is hosted at a minimum 40 different child pornography websites, or sites that collect payment for the content. A traffic analysis of one of the sites proved that each one of these sites were generating between 15,000 and 25,000 visitors daily.

For several months, cyber criminals have been utilizing servers at McColo to manage websites that send out new versions of the “Torpig” or “Sinowal” Trojan horse program that is one of the most stealthy malware programs in existence currently.

This is just one more successful move in the government’s quest to go more seriously after spammers. Last month, the FTC seized the assets of Herbal King that was in the business of selling counterfeit prescription drugs. This network was deemed the largest “spam gang” in the world. The spammers utilized the Mega-D botnet, which reportedly was able to send 10 billion e-mail messages per day. Story Source
