Empire State Human

Empire State Human

The truth isn’t always warm and inspiring; however, it is always empowering.  There are fundamental flaws in your thinking and in my thinking.  We perpetuate limitations, false boundaries, and perverted interpretations of reality through artificial social constructs called culture.  You believe something, not because it’s true (and I’ll guarantee you that it is never true), [...]

Dangerous Visions

Dangerous Visions

You are being watched.
The dollar is not real currency.  It’s used to monitor your movements by an agency that doesn’t exist!
Invisible cookies cannot be detected by any computer technology that we know.  Their real purpose is related to engrams planted in your neural tissue by messages concealed in television transmissions!
Cartoons provide cover for dangerous clues.  Certain sunglasses can [...]

Tranquility Base Here

Tranquility Base Here

On May 25, 1961 President Kennedy challenged our Nation to land on the Moon and safely return before the end of the decade.  Eight years later, on July 20, 1969 we did just that.  The Lunar Module touched down on the Moon as Neil Armstrong spoke the words:  “Tranquility Base Here, The Eagle Has Landed.”  At [...]

Fixing a Hole

Fixing a Hole

What would the Beatles sound like if they were here today? In the sixties they shocked the world with their first album. The Beatles sound and sophistication grew exponentially and they continued to shock a generation with each new album.  The Fab Four became the engineers of a cultural and musical revolution.  Continually moving into new territory, they [...]

IZ Lives

IZ Lives

As a child we dream big.  Our senses are enlivened with joy when we discover new things to touch and see.  Our dreams are always there reminding us of something much more…something magical beyond the stars in the night sky.  In time, the dreams slowly fade away.  Is this all there is?  Is there nothing more?  We [...]

Solid Air

Solid Air

Call it jazz, experimental blues, or some other hybrid musical category.  Or call it a subterranean sound that echoes through the hollows of a vacant soul.  John Martyn’s arrangement  masterfully captures familiar, yet distant elements imprinted on some forgotten region of the human genetic blueprint.
You’ve been taking your time
And you’ve been living on solid air
You’ve [...]

Big Brother and The Holding Company

Rest easy, big brother is watching over you.

Jam It

Jam It

Road Warriors are the respectable, road beaten, corporate travelers who have learned to adapt to a fast-paced, business lifestyle with a unique brand of urban survival skills.  The elite breed of this warrior clan subscribes to an unwritten code of conduct that honors and preserves the sanctity of our fellow travelers’ respite.
Then enters Agent Smith.
Imagine:  He [...]

The Wrestler – Movie Review

The Wrestler – Movie Review

I just saw The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke in it. This is SUCH a damn good movie. If you want to see an actor playing a used up-beat down-end of his rope character then you have to see Rourke as over the hill professional wrestler Randy “The Ram” Robinson. It is VERY hard to watch this film because The Ram is such a mess and how well Rourke plays a character that is probably VERY close to his real life.

Best Keith Olbermann Parody EVER

Best Keith Olbermann Parody EVER

Without question Ben Affleck’s best acting of his entire career. His parody of Olbermann is as good as Tina Fey’s of Sen. Palin.
The facial expressions and changing camera angles are perfectly done. If you have ever seen one of Olbermann’s exhaustive rants then you will love this. Enjoy!
