Gas Below $2 – Woo Hoo

I just had to post my excitement at seeing gas BELOW $2 in Florida and Alabama. This can only be the start of gas prices dropping all over the country and hopefully continuing to drop right through the holidays. How great would it be if We see $1.50 or $1.25! that would be fantastic and really help out with having extra money for Christmas gifts and other expenses.

There is NO REASON that gas should go back up again in my opinion other then the gas companies raping us for profits and end of the year bonuses. In my opinion they have made enough at this point to stick it to us again during the holidays.

And hopefully if we can really start moving towards cars that don’t rely only on gas we could really move away from the coast associated with paying at the pump. Either way, it is going down currently and that is a positive for me. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for even lower prices.

Don’t Mess With the Zohan

I thought nothing could be worse then The Happening, but this piece of complete shit is quite possibly the single worst movie of 2008.

And it is my own fault for watching it. I had been told by EVERYONE that is SUCKED, but I still rented it. From the opening SECOND of the movie….it sucked. And not historically stupid Adam Sandler movies that were still funny. No, this was dumb, dumber and dumbest with barely a laugh the entire movie. There are about 100 cameo appearances from other actors and they suck also. It almost seems that Sandler has gotten so full of himself that he though he could put out a rotten movie and people would still go see it.

What boggles my mind is that this pile or horse shit had an estimated 90 MILLION DOLLAR budget. on the strength of Sandlers name it grossed just over 100 million in the US, making it barely pofitable (once you add in marketing and promotion, etc

Briefly the story is about Sandler playing The Zohan a super Mossad agent who has almost super powers, dances like a 70’s jackass and is an all around idiot. Instead of being a terrorist he would rather cut hair in NYC. The predictable movie has a dumb love story and we get to see Sandler have simulated sex with about 15 women over the age of 65, another pointless part of the movie.

What a piece of shit movie. M Night Shyamalan is SO LUCKY that the 6th Sense was his first lucky hit, because his movies have gotten worse and worse since. EVENTUALLY THERE HAS TO BE MORE THEN JUST “STYLE”. THERE HAS TO BE “SUBSTANCE”.

Best Keith Olbermann Parody EVER

Without question Ben Affleck’s best acting of his entire career. His parody of Olbermann is as good as Tina Fey’s of Sen. Palin.
The facial expressions and changing camera angles are perfectly done. If you have ever seen one of Olbermann’s exhaustive rants then you will love this. Enjoy!

GNR FINALLY to release new album.

Amazing. Finally we will get a new album from Guns N’ Roses. After 14 years it better be great and worthy of the madness Axl has put all his fans through waiting and waiting while he redid the album over and over again.

How do the lyrics go? “It’s been 14 years of silence.” So sang Axl Rose in 1991 on “Fourteen Years.” But who would have guessed he was predicting the future?

OK, so that’s not exactly true, as a string of stop-and-start tours, song leaks and Internet rumors have surrounded Guns N’ Roses for much of the past decade and a half. But an album that was supposedly 14 years in the making, “Chinese Democracy,” will finally be released on Nov. 23, 2008.
