Quarterback or Crybaby?
I hate to be the one to jump on the band wagon, but enough is enough. First it was Terrel Owens being so innocent, then Brett Favre retiring and unretiring, and now it is the Prima Donna known as Vince Young picking and choosing when he will play. I went on record earlier this year and said that the Tennessee Titians can not win with Vince Young as their quarterback. Now, VY decides that he is going to prove me right.
In Sunday’s win over the Jaquars, Vince refused to take the field after a 4th quarter. No one seems to know why but halfway through the 4th quarter in Sunday’s game, Vince”appeared” as though he refused to go into the game. Prior to this, Vince had thrown his second interception of the game. The fans were pretty tough on him as they rang out in a chorus of “BOO”. I mean, that has to be so mean of them. I would run and hide too.
Finally when Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher was able to get his Prima Donna back out on the field, he hurt his knee 4 plays later. I think that he heard of Tom Brady’s injury and thought that it was a good way to get sympathy. I wonder if they will let him sit out for the week and give him more incentives to play.
